Transforming from Dentistry to Yoga: A Journey Towards Self-Healing and Empowerment

I am a dentist turned Hatha yoga instructor. The pivotal moment in my career came when I recognized that medicine alone was insufficient for the comprehensive pursuit of self-healing. This insight led me into the vast world of yoga, an expansive discipline that transcs the boundaries of dental clinics. Yoga has always been deeply rooted within me since childhood; it was only natural to channel this passion towards spreading positivity through healthy living and mindfulness practices.

The transition from dentistry to yoga was propelled by my dissatisfaction with the profit-driven nature of private dental clinics. I felt a strong urge to pursue a vocation that resonated more profoundly with my innate compassion for health and the environment. Consequently, I dedicated myself fully to teaching yoga, starting with families in my community before expanding my outreach across India and beyond.

Yoga, for me, is not merely about physical fitness; it’s a holistic approach to embracing life's full potential, fostering vitality and abundance. As an ardent nature lover, I am committed to promoting minimalistic living and contributing to societal well-being through the practice of yoga.

I firmly believe that good health, encompassing physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, is ity's most valuable possession. It should be cherished and shared with others, and through yoga, I aspire to make a positive impact on countless lives as my time on this planet comes to an .

Yoga teaches essential life lessons about compassion for others, understanding our needs, and responsibly utilizing and safeguarding resources for future generations.

I am humbled and honored to have received the Maharishi Gherand Yoga Samman Award from the Indian Yoga Therapist Association and the Sanathana Reflection Award from the Reflection YouTube channel. These distinctions are a testament to my commitment and passion in teaching yoga and sharing its benefits with others.

On this International Women's Day, let us celebrate the inspiring women who have filled our lives with love and strength. As we journey through life, let us that inner power comes not only from assisting others but also nurturing ourselves.

Reflect upon the remarkable women who have guided you, demonstrating what it means to be strong and caring. They are guiding lights, showing us how to face challenges with courage and determination.
