Meet Your Leadership Team

Kayko Watanabe, C-IAYT, RYT 500, serves as a vital link between our teachers council and the organization’s governance structure. She oversees class offerings and instructor quality control while fostering meaningful connections among students through her regular engagement sessions.

As a dedicated IYISF teacher since 2020, Kayko ensures that every weekly Hatha class is welcoming and nurturing for all participants. Her insights are invaluable in enhancing our community's experience.

Diana Meltsner, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, has been nurturing growth in the yoga and meditation community since 2001. She offers therapeutic sessions tlored to stress reduction, chronic conditions management, injury recovery, and more. Diana also contributes her expertise as Programs Manager and a vice-president on the board of directors.

Swami Ramananda, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, brings over four decades of yoga practice experience, serving as our Executive Director at IYISF and a senior teacher in the Integral Yoga tradition. Swami Ramananda guides individuals through practical methods to integrate timeless teachings into dly life, transforming challenges into steps towards personal growth.

David Calef, with his deep roots in San Francisco and extensive professional background in management consulting, supports our board as Chrperson while also teaching Hatha 1 classes at IYISF. His expertise enriches our team's strategic planning and community outreach efforts.

K. Muktidevi Demafeliz, a passionate advocate for yoga, shares her journey with 26 years of Multiple Sclerosis MS experience. As the Well-Being Champion for San Francisco Police Department, K. Muktidevi mentors new teachers and supports BIPOC communities through yoga practices.

Muktidevi mentors teacher trnees and supports newly certified teachers in their development and growth on their yogic journey. She is committed to making a positive impact by fostering an inclusive space that empowers and heals individuals from diverse backgrounds.
